Previously, Facebook also considered short content like three-minute videos and regular upload in the criteria of eligibility. But now it is considering live streams and recorded live sessions as well just instead of considering three-minute video.
In-stream ads are not for personal profiles and the pages must have 10,000 followers to meet the standards of instream ads.

From now on with the latest updates pages could be easily monetized and everyone can earn money with short videos as well. With one minute video uploaded you are allowed to run an ad of 30 sec on it. Facebook called it minimal interruptive.
Without these updates, only those videos are monetized which is 3 minutes long. Plus videos with more than 3 minutes could be included in mid-roll ads. These ads are shown during the video only.
The mid-roll could be shown after 40-45 seconds in between the video that is the minor update from forgoing checkpoint of the video of one minute.

While talking of Facebook and its ads monetization we must know that it has separate requirements for different pages that are interested in live streaming.
In these ads, pages have to maintain different criteria to meet the requirements and become eligible for running ads on their videos. So, it needs the watch time of 60,000 minutes in the past 60 days only by live streaming.
Also, the recorded live streams cannot be counted in these 60,000 minutes. So it would be genuinely 60,000 minutes of live streaming for eligibility.
